Our Canada Day Celebration Returns

The Canadian Club of Norway (CCN) is proud to partner with Canadian Embassy, to host this popular event.

The picnic is open to the Canadian-Norwegian community.

Sunday June 25th, gates open at 13:00.

Please Note: This is a volunteer-driven event and we count on your help and contributions.

You are welcome to renew you Canadian Club membership at this event. NOK 150 for families or NOK 100 for individuals.

LOCATION: The Official Residence of Canada, Slemdalsveien 42, 0373 Oslo
DATE: Sunday, June 25th, 2023
TIME: 13:00–17:30. The gates will be manned from 12:45 to 14:00. Gates close at 14:00!

NB: Note the address of the Official Residence! Parking is NOT available at the Residence; the closest parking is at Vinderen. The best is to take public transportation via T-Banen linje 1, and get off at Steinerud stasjon.

NB! The registration deadline is June 18th. Due to security requirements, only registered guests can be admitted! Please note that the event will be held outdoors regardless of weather. Access to the Official Residence is limited to use of the basement washroom facilities.”

Prepay to our Club account Account no.: 0539 58 35558 - Be sure to identify the payment with "Canada Day Fee and/or Membership fee CCN, plus 'your name'". Prepayment must be made by June 22th. We also can accept payment by VIPPS, use VIPPS number 115613.

Canadian Club members: Families in good standing NOK 100, singles NOK 75 
Affiliated adults (CNBA members, Embassy staff): NOK 100 for families and OK 75 for singles.
Other adults: Families NOK 250 and singles NOK 175.
Children: included in Family

The admission charge covers hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, dessert, coffee, games and entertainment. Beer and wine, soft drinks, juice, and water is available for a small fee.

(Please bring change or small bills to help with the payments) Dress is informal.
NB: Remember to bring something to sit on.

A limited number of seats will be available for senior guests and those with mobility restrictions.
