After much work from Wendy Barstad the signup for the Kongsberg Silver Mines Tour is now available. We know that timing is late for this so we need your response as quickly as possible. Hopefully we can get a group together to enjoy the day in Kongsberg.
The temperature in the Silver Mines is appr. +6 C, and you are advised to put on warm clothes. The train transport into the mine and out has a total duration of 25 minutes and is noisy. Please use the distributed hearing protection. The mine is not prepared or appropriate for disabled persons or visitors with poor health. The recommended minimum age is 5 years. The guided walk lasts for appr. 65 minutes and the walking distance is appr. 800 meters. The walk includes the climbing of stairs corresponding to a 5 storey high building (16 meters).
